This is
MerCruiser p/n 91-61067A04 pinion nut adaptor and p/n 91-56775T driveshaft
adaptor ( which has 13 teeth on internal spline ). It is used to hold the 7/8
nut located below the pinion gear during removal and reassembly on standard
rotation #1 MerCruiser
drives made from 1971 - Date including Pre-Alpha, Alpha One and Generation II drives.
It will not fit
Alpha/Gen II counter rotation, Bravo, TR or TRS drives.
