Pre-Alpha & Alpha One
This kit replaces MerCruiser part # 30-803097T1. It will fit Pre-Alpha &
Alpha One drives made from 1965 - 1990. On
1965 - 1971 drives, this gimbal bearing will also replace the larger bearing
used with the plastic holder Click
Here. Also on 1965 - 1971 there are no grooves cut into the flanges on the transom
housing plate or on the bell housing for the 2 internal rubber beads shown. The 2 internal beads (shown with blue arrow) will have to be
removed with a sandpaper wheel on a Dremel.

This kit replaces
MerCruiser part # 30-803100T1. It will fit all Bravo drives made from 1988 to
Date. It comes with both an exhaust tube and an exhaust bellows. On
bravo drives 2000 and newer (serial #OM100001 & Up) the gimbal bearing must
be installed with the red dot facing outward.
This kit does not come with the GLM # 85910 Gimbal
Bearing Grease Seal like the (2) above kits do.
